These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your (the "Customer," "you," or "your") access to and use of Rumi Matcha Inc. ("Rumi," "we," "us," or "our") online platform (the "Platform"). By accessing, viewing, or using the Platform, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. ABOUT RUMI MATCHA & OUR PRODUCTS
A. What We Do
Rumi Matcha is a health and wellness company that offers matcha sourced directly from Japan. Our Platform allows customers to purchase our products for personal, non-commercial use.
B. Product Availability
Product availability is subject to demand.
We may alter, discontinue, or introduce new products at our discretion.
C. Modifications to the Service and Prices
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
3. ORDERS, SHIPPING & RETURNS
A. Order Processing & Payment
Prices for our products are listed on the Platform in USD (United States Dollars), CAD (Canadian Dollars) and ฿ (Thai Baht).
We accept major credit cards and digital payment methods as listed at checkout.
Payments must be completed before orders are processed.
B. Shipping Policy
At Rumi, we’re committed to delivering the freshest matcha possible — quickly, securely, and with transparency at every step.
We currently ship orders from one of three fulfillment locations, depending on your destination and available inventory:
- Japan (direct from origin for maximum freshness)
- Canada
- Thailand
Shipping Times & Processing
Processing times are typically 1–3 business days. Shipping times vary depending on your location and the fulfillment origin.
While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, customs clearance and international transit conditions may occasionally affect the timeline.
Customs Duties & Import Taxes
All international orders are subject to your country’s import regulations. Duties and taxes will be automatically calculated and displayed at checkout, so you’ll know the full cost before placing your order.
Please note:
These fees are determined by your country’s import laws.
They must be paid by the recipient before the shipment can be delivered.
Unfortunately, we cannot cover or reimburse these fees.
C. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to the following countries:
Canada, China, Hong Kong SAR China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United States.
If your country is not listed, we are unable to process your order at this time.
D. Returns & Refunds
A. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
Rumi Matcha offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of delivery. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return, exchange, or refund within this time period by contacting us at info@rumimatcha.com.
We may request details about your experience to help us understand the issue and improve our service. Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or a full/partial refund. In some cases, we may require the return of the original or remaining product before processing a refund.
Please note that if a return label is issued as a courtesy, any associated costs (e.g. postage or service fees) will be deducted from your final refund amount.
B. Return Policy
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated by Rumi Matcha. A digital return label may be provided in certain cases, in which case applicable charges will be deducted from your refund.
To help ensure safe delivery of your return, we recommend using a trackable shipping method. Rumi Matcha is not responsible for returns that are lost or delayed in transit.
C. Refund Processing
Once returned items are received and inspected, refunds will be processed to the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution. If you do not see your refund within 10 business days, please first check with your bank or credit card provider before contacting us.
D. Lost or Stolen Packages
Rumi Matcha is not liable for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier. Customers are encouraged to ensure delivery to a secure location. If you experience a delivery issue, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in contacting the courier and filing a claim where applicable.
E. Exchanges
We only replace items that arrive damaged or defective. If you’d like to request an exchange, please contact us at info@rumimatcha.com with a description and photo of the issue.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, logos, images, and trademarks on the Platform are the property of Rumi Matcha and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
5. CUSTOMER CONDUCT
When using our Platform, you agree not to:
- Misuse or interfere with the functionality of the Platform.
- Post fraudulent or misleading information.
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from our Platform.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
6. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
By providing your email, you consent to receive transactional and promotional emails.
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rumi Matcha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or products.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the products purchased through our Platform.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
