Our first-harvest, single-origin Yabukita matcha from the renowned Uji region is crafted exclusively from 100% ichibancha — the youngest and most prized leaves of the season. Shade-grown for over 21 days, these tender leaves develop heightened levels of L-theanine and chlorophyll, yielding a luminous green color and an exceptionally smooth, umami-rich cup.
Cultivated in award-winning Uji tea fields with years of dedicated stewardship, this matcha reflects a legacy of precision and care. The flavor is beautifully layered and refined, opening with soft floral notes and natural sweetness, followed by a gentle, rounded umami. Preparation
Prepare 2g (about 1 tsp) with 75 mL (2.5 oz) of hot water at 80º C (175º F). Whisk and enjoy hot or cold with your favorite dairy or dairy alternative.
