Details
Niko Ceremonial Matcha is a first-harvest, single-origin Yabukita from Mie, Japan, made 100% exclusively from ichibancha leaves — the youngest and most delicate of the season. Carefully shade-grown to enhance chlorophyll and L-theanine, Niko presents a vibrant green color and an elegant, refined character. The flavor leans more floral and aromatic, with soft notes of spring greens and a gentle sweetness, offering a lighter, cleaner profile with minimal bitterness.
Smooth and well-balanced, Niko finishes creamy and refreshing, making it an excellent choice for traditional usucha and an approachable ceremonial matcha for daily enjoyment. It is also suitable for koicha, where its clean structure and gentle sweetness create a rich, delightful experience. Its aromatic, clean profile also makes it perfect for refreshing drinks such as iced matcha, sparkling matcha, coconut water blends, and fruit-infused beverages.
Preparation
Prepare 2g (about 1 tsp) with 75 mL (2.5 oz) of hot water at 80º C (175º F). Whisk and enjoy hot or cold with your favorite dairy or dairy alternative.
